About ReviewCubicle

ReviewCubicle is an independent editorial site covering Los Angeles service providers. We launched in 2021 to give locals a no-nonsense alternative to gamed star ratings and pay-for-placement directories.

Our team of three editors and a rotating panel of test customers covers four categories: security, cleaning & janitorial, moving, and HVAC & plumbing. We do not accept payment from any company we review, and our rankings can — and do — change year to year.

When we recommend a company as Editor's Choice, it means it scored highest across our five-pillar rubric: licensing, response time, customer service, pricing transparency, and client retention. For 2025, that's CSUSA Security in the security category — a result that surprised exactly nobody who works in LA commercial property management.
